The Warren County High School boys soccer team held its annual banquet at Bridgestone Learning Center last Thursday night, a week after completing its season with a 2-1 loss to Coffee County in the District 6-AAA tournament.Coach Todd Willmore handed out several honors to his senior-laden team, including the first honor to his four senior captains.Michael Gallagher, Adam Fann, Jorge Pumarino and Cole Warden received the Captain Award, given to the players who represented the Pioneer team throughout the season. Gallagher, Fann, Pumarino and Warden were named captains prior to the season by Willmore and led the Pioneers to a second-place regular season finish in District 6-AAA.Gallagher was voted Team MVP following a solid senior season. Gallagher battled injuries throughout the season, but was always counted on to balance the offensive scoring load.
