Despite being relatively young, I have actually covered nearly 25 percent of the sports seasons played by WCHS since the local high schools consolidated in 1969. And while I'm sure there were plenty of wild stories in the 41 years I wasn't around to cover, I don't think any story has seemed any crazier in my 14 years than the drama surrounding Lady Pioneer basketball and the dismissal of star guard Sable Winfree.
