When Thursday's NFL game between the Vikings and Rams completed, standard media practice went ahead as scheduled. Coaches made their way to the podium to take questions and players stood in the locker room giving answers. The winners in the Rams locker room got to tell how they did it, while the Vikings had to face the music and explain how they lost.
The only people on the field for the pivotal game left to head home without having a camera on them and a mic not far away were the officials. And more and more, it feels like those are people fans want to hear from the most after games.
