The 31st annual Rotary Golf Classic will be held this Saturday, Aug. 5, at McMinnville Country Club. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and play begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Players entered for this event will receive a goody bag filled with coupons and donations from many local merchants. Lunch for all players will begin after completion of golf. The field will be separated into flights with prizes awarded to the top four teams in each flight.
Hole-in-one prizes are available on all par 3s, including a very special prize from Kidd Ford to the lucky player hitting a hole-in-one on No. 7. Other prizes will be available for closest to the hole on all par 3s, two long drives, longest putt on hole No. 7 and straightest drive. In addition, a door prize drawing will be held for those players purchasing mulligans.
