The Warren County High School softball team saw its season end Friday night as it lost, 9-2, in the District 6-AAA tournament to the Rhea County Eaglettes. The Lady Pioneers never had the lead due to cold spells at the plate and the Eaglettes pulled away with a six-run outburst in the bottom of the fifth.The Lady Pioneers overall record to finish the season is 15-14.Neva Tackett led the charge at the plate for the Lady Pioneers, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Skyler Youngblood added a 2-for-3 night, including a double.Freshman Ashton Whiles suffered the loss on the mound, going six innings, allowing nine runs on 11 hits and striking out two.Hailey Wood led off the top of the first for the Lady Pioneers with a single down the third-base line.
