





It is down to the final four in both the girls and boys brackets of the 3-Point Club postseason elementary tournament. Berthes into the title game will be earned Saturday when the semifinals are held at Charlie Dalton Gym beginning at 4 p.m.
The Boyd Lady Broncos, Eastside Bulldogs, Morrison Lady Eagles and Morrison Eagles were all able to survive and advance Monday, winning quarterfinal games to open tourney play. The Lady Broncos beat Eastside 24-10, the Bulldogs followed with a 30-22 victory over Irving College and the Morrison squads were impressive in 35-26 and 54-16 victories over the Lady Tigers and Boyd Broncos, respectively.
Saturday will be the debut of the top-two seeds in each bracket as the Centertown Warriors and Lady Warriors and Dibrell Lady Wildcats and Wildcats all earned byes with impressive runs in the regular season.
The Lady Warriors are the only team with a chance at perfection this year as they enter the tournament having won all 10 of their regular season games and taking home the preseason tournament with a pair of blowouts. Centertown will face off with the Lady Broncos at 4 p.m. to start semifinal play.
The No. 1 seed on the boys side - the Dibrell Wildcats - will be looking to claim a championship in the next week, but they'll need to take out Eastside first. The Bulldogs and Wildcats will match up at 5:15 p.m.
In the night caps, the Morrison Lady Eagles and Dibrell Lady Wildcats are set to tangle at 6:30 p.m. and the Centertown Warriors and Morrison Eagles will battle at 7:45 p.m.
The 3-Point Club tournament championship games are set to be played Tuesday, Feb. 18 starting at 6:30 p.m. Consolation games will begin on the same night at 4 p.m.
