Lady Pioneers look to instill new attitude during summer workouts

Coming off a 10-win season a year ago, the Warren County High School Lady Pioneer basketball team is ready to shine this upcoming season. The team added seven freshmen -- Beth Vaughn, Hannah Lee, Halle Joe Pennington, Savannah Cox, Capri Talley, Emily Fults and Kenley Cathcart.The Lady Pioneers also added a junior, Rae Anna Hodge, who transferred from the Van Buren County Eaglette basketball program and has state tournament experience, to round out the 22 members on the team.Talking about the experience Hodge has and what it means to have an addition like her to the team, coach Shea Panter said, “She has played with a lot of good players during her time at Van Buren and actually played on an AAU team I coached when she was younger. She is definitely a good addition to the team.”Talking about the team this year, coach Panter said, “We have four seniors, four juniors, seven sophomores and seven freshmen.
