Pro Impact camp returning
Camp - Boogie 1.jpg
West Virginia alum Boogie Allen will return to Warren County Saturday, July 13 to hold a second Pro Impact Sports football camp.

Boogie Allen is making a return trip to Warren County.

The former West Virginia standout will bring the Pro Impact Sports football camp back to town Saturday, July 13. The camp will run from 9:30 a.m. until noon at Nunley Stadium and is open to players ages 6-17.

Allen had several Midstate players attend his last camp in April at WCHS. Attendance may boom at the follow-up camp as the local gridirons have been packed with players this spring. New school coaches Ben Matheney and Matt Turner have seen their numbers grow during spring practice and the youth league has been encouraged by early sign-ups as well.

The camp is also expected to have Guss Scott in attendance. Scott is a former Florida Gator who won a Super Bowl ring with the New England Patriots.

The morning camp will focus on fundamental drills as well as skill development. Competitions, like 7-on-7s, could also be part of the workout. The cost is $30.

Allen will also host a camp for WCMS and WCHS football players only from 6-8:30 p.m. on the same day.

To register for the morning session, contact Charlie Boyd at 808-0017 or Steve Weeter at 931-414-0918.
