On a damp Monday night with rain in the forecast, Warren County Middle School took to the field versus Franklin North in a relative evenly matched game until the bottom of the fifth inning when the Pioneers unloaded both barrels for seven runs and never looked back. WCMS defeated Franklin North by a final score of 11-4. WCMS gave the ball to Brooks Helton and he took the hill for the Pioneers and got the win.
