As each week passes, Warren County gets a little closer to those Friday night lights. For the first time this season at Nunley Stadium, the Warren County Pioneers hosted Summit High School from Spring Hill in a preseason scrimmage. A crowd estimated around 200 got its first look at the 2015 Pioneers under head coach Tom Moore. It was a low-scoring game and it gave coach Moore a chance to hopefully find his team’s strengths and also provided the opportunity to perhaps fix the Pioneers’ weaknesses before the regular season kicks off Aug. 21 at home versus DeKalb County.“Overall I was pleased, and on offense our second and third possessions moved the chains well and made good gains,” said Moore.
