Before the season, Warren County High School boys golf coach J.W. Holt had a hunch his Pioneers would be much improved this season. Tuesday’s Murfreesboro Invitational proved Holt’s suspicions were correct.Competing against 13 other schools, Warren County claimed second in the Murfreesboro Invitational and sophomore Bracton Womack earned an individual medal for his stellar play.The Pioneers had four golfers combine to shoot 297, led by Womack’s even-par 72. The score was just three shots off the pace District 6-AAA foe Cookeville turned in to win the event.
