Cannon County ran out to a 26-7 first-quarter lead and outlasted Warren County the rest of the way as the Pioneers lost 69-42.Cannon County was ready to run from the opening tip. Pressure defense and scoring at will would eventually get the best of Warren County as the Pioneer guards struggled against tough early defense.The teams played even for the second and third quarters, but that wasn’t what Warren County needed faced with such a large early hole.
