Kyra Perkins and Lia Wright were always fans of each other's games, both when they played together for the Lady Pioneers and after when they went on to star for WCHS and Boyd, respectively. The long-time friends knew they could do damage together on the court, but after finishing school locally, there was no guarantee they would hoop together again.
