In boys 9-11 baseball action at Sam Martin Field on Tuesday night, Morrison Industries faced Platinum Roofing. Morrison Industries ultimately squeaked by with a 5-4 victory in a hard-fought game that was won in dramatic fashion.Justus Majors led the way at the plate for Morrison Industries, going 3-for-3 with an RBI. Brayan Holgain, Nathan Elrod, Devan Grayson and Gabriel Bowers added a hit apiece.Elrod also earned the win on the mound, going four innings, striking out seven batters, while only allowing four runs on a hit.In the loss, Platinum Roofing was led at the plate by Talan Mullican who had the team’s lone hit. Mullican also suffered the loss on the mound, going one inning, allowing a run.Platinum Roofing got on the scoreboard first in the top of the first thanks to an RBI single by Mullican, 1-0.
