Middle Tennessee Limestone completed a sweep of the regular season and tournament titles Friday night in the Morrison Ruritan junior league by defeating Gondola 15-3 in the tournament championship game.Behind three-hit games by Brook Hall and Cierra Holt, Middle Tennessee Limestone had no problem claiming its second championship trophy of the season.Middle Tennessee Limestone fell behind 2-1 after one inning, but two four-run innings put the game away.Hall had a two-run double in the second inning as Middle Tennessee Limestone scored four runs. Holt sparked a four-run third inning with a run-scoring single as Middle Tennessee Limestone ran away with the title.The game was fiercely contested as players swapped barbs from the dugout throughout the contest.Holden Baker, who pitched for Middle Tennessee Limestone, was accused of pitching around players on Gondola. Baker confidently kept tossing strikes, challenging Gondola players to hit up the middle.
