Warren County High School played host to the District 6-AAA basketball media day on Monday.Coaches from Cookeville, Coffee County, Cumberland County, White County and Warren County were all given the opportunity to talk about their basketball teams as the season nears.In both the girls and boys leagues, coaches were quick to point out the parity present in District 6-AAA. Although the Cookeville girls and White County boys were selected as the favorites this season, Coffee County girls coach David Muckle summed it up best when he talked about the teams being evenly matched.“I think there is tremendous balance in the third year of the district,” said Muckle. “All the teams seem to be improving.”Headlined by junior standout Hannah Goolsby, the Cookeville Lady Cavaliers were predicted to finish first in the poll voted on by coaches and media.
