Lady Warriors finish 10-0

Tenlee Medley and the Lady Warriors completed a perfect regular season with a 38-4 win over Morrison Tuesday.

Nothing seems to be slowing down the Centertown Lady Warriors. The local juggernaut in elementary basketball completed a perfect regular season Tuesday, smashing Morrison 38-4 at home to finish 10-0.

Centertown, riding a local elementary winning streak that dates back to 2023, has been dominating the competition all year. It was more of the same against Morrison as the Lady Warriors led 25-0 at halftime and allowed the Lady Eagles just two made shots all game.

While Morrison struggled to find any room to score, Karsyn Mathis had a breakout game from deep for Centertown. Mathis, usually a monster in the post, stepped out and swished three 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 11 points. Reese Reinitz and Rylee Young - the league's leading scorer - scored seven points apiece before watching most fo the second half. 

Rounding out the Centertown scoring was Kate Williams with five, Kinslee Jarvis with four and two points each from Tenlee Medley and Anslee Pepper. 

Ella Pennywell and Baylee Vincion scored two points each for Morrison.
