The WCHS Lady Pioneers used 18 points from Kyra Perkins to brush aside Franklin County on Tuesday night, winning 53-40 in Winchester.
Shelby Smartt hit three 3-pointers and scored 12 for the Lady Pioneers.
The win improves Warren County to 17-3 overall and 2-1 in the district. Franklin County falls to 8-8 and 1-2.
The Pioneers gave another determined effort Tuesday night in Winchester, but experienced a familiar problem – lack of offensive punch.
Franklin County won 55-45 to stay unbeaten in the district.
Sawyer Seymour led the Pioneers with 15 points, including four 3-pointers. Isaiah Cummings scored 12.
The loss drops Warren County to 7-10 overall and 0-3 in the district.
