For two straight years, coach David Upton has figured out a simple way to pick up a win against the White County Warriorettes in the District 6-AAA tournament. Coach Upton puts Gabi Keith in the circle and the rest takes care of itself.Keith pitched a complete game, striking out eight while allowing three hits to help the Lady Pioneers win 3-0 over White County.With Warren County playing as the home team on White County’s field, Keith came out and set the tone with a strikeout of the first batter. It would become a tiresome trend for the Warriorettes, as White County would gain momentum with a hit, only to have Keith answer with a strikeout each time.The Lady Pioneers got a much-needed boost when the offense put a runner across the plate in the second.
