Defense was the name of the game in the Lady Pioneers win Tuesday night against a Lady Eagle team that struggled to get an open look for much of the game.
The WCMS sixth-grade girls set the tone early Tuesday night in Morrison as the Lady Pioneers rolled to a 35-15 victory.Cierra Martin led the fast-paced Lady Pioneers with 10 quick points. The Lady Eagles got off to a rough start being out run from end to end by the Lady Pioneer transition offense. WCMS worked diligently to get out on the Lady Eagles and run.Opening up a large lead in the opening quarter, WCMS pulled back slightly and forced the Lady Eagles into some turnover situations.
