While facing some of the best competition in the state, the Warren County High School girls soccer team placed second in the Chattanooga tournament held over the weekend.The Lady Pioneers won games against McMinn Central 5-2 and Smith County 5-1 before falling to Maryville 2-0 in the championship game. Warren County (10-2) used the same combination in the Chattanooga tournament that has made the team so successful this season. The Lady Pioneers leaned on seniors Ansley Mullican and Morgan McCormick to provide the offense while the rest of the team focused on shutting opponents down.Mullican continued her quest for 100 career goals with hat tricks against McMinn Central and Smith County.
