It was a heartache for the Warren County High School Lady Pioneers, who traveled to Coffee County ready to rumble in a rematch seeking a win after dropping to the Lady Red Raiders in a close home Thanksgiving loss.Late in the game, down by one, Lady Pioneer Megan Patch drew a foul with 9.7 seconds left. Patch hit both shots, putting the Lady Pioneers up by a point, 50-49. But alas, Coffee County made the most of the remaining ticks as Lady Raider Abby Morgan took the ball full court and hit a jumper, a buzzer-beater, for a Lady Raider win, 51-50.Coffee County’s Alliyah Williams appeared to be a foul magnet for the Lady Pioneers, as she went steadily to the line from the second quarter on.
