In a low-scoring slugfest, WCMS had just enough offense to go on the road and capture a 5-6 grade basketball victory in Irving College on Tuesday night.Kyra Perkins scored 10 points as WCMS stayed unbeaten with a 30-14 win over the Lady Tigers.The victory keeps the WCMS girls unbeaten at 5-0. The Irving College girls drop to 2-3.Mia Hobbs was the top scorer for Irving College with 10.It was anybody’s game after a bruising first quarter, but WCMS began to gain separation in the second quarter. Irving College was unable to score a point in the second quarter, missing all five of its foul shots, as the Lady Pioneers built a 12-3 lead at the break.From there, WCMS was able to stay comfortably in front thanks to a balanced scoring attack.
