Trinity Reynolds and Brynlee Chisam both finished with nine points in Tuesday's impressive 46-9 win at Siegel.

Defensive domination led the Lady Pioneers to their eight victory Tuesday night. Warren County was relentless against Siegel, strangling the Stars' offense in a 46-9 road beatdown.

Warren County (8-18) held Siegel to one point in each of the first two quarters and didn't allow the Stars to hit a shot from the field until the second half, when the Lady Pioneers had already amassed a 20-plus point advantage.

Trinity Reynolds and Brynlee Chisam were the leaders offensively, finishing with nine points each as Warren County swept the season series with Siegel. Addison Steakley added eight points, followed by Brinlee Griffith with six, Aubrey Oleksik with four, Kealey Simpson and Cortlyn Porter with three each and Chloe Wanamaker and Zoie Verge with two points apiece.

The Lady Pioneers, up 26-2 at halftime, never let up defensively, making a final statement by holding the Stars scoreless in the fourth quarter. For the year, Warren County's two best defensive performances came against Siegel (including holding the Stars to 18 points in a December matchup).

Warren County will be looking to close the regular season strong Friday with a home matchup against Cannon County. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
