Lady Pioneers slam Shelbyville
Morgan-McCormick-2
The Warren County High School girls soccer team didn’t take long to avenge its first loss of the season. Less than 24 hours after losing to the Blackman Lady Blaze, the Lady Pioneers slammed Shelbyville 6-2 on their home field.Sophomore Morgan McCormick had her first hat trick as a varsity player to lead the way for Warren County. Ansley Mullican, Lauren Roller and Ayla Anish each added goals as the Lady Pioneers offense exploded a night after being held to one goal by the Lady Blaze.Coach Todd Willmore attributed the abundance of offense to his team’s increased amount of energy Tuesday, something which seemed lacking a night before.“I was real pleased with how the team played,” said Willmore.
