One game separated the Warren County High School softball team from a number of goals the team put in place before the season. The Lady Pioneers had already finished in the top two in District 6-AAA in the regular season, but had an opportunity to win their 20th game and clinch a second straight trip to regional tournament on Tuesday.Standing in the way was the Cookeville Lady Cavaliers, who the Lady Pioneers had split the regular season series with. Cookeville won the rubber match in the District 6-AAA tournament, ending Warren County’s season with a 6-1 loss at White County High School.Warren County found itself in the elimination game following a 5-1 loss to Coffee County on Monday night.
