Scoring was an issue for the Warren County Middle School girls basketball team Monday against Franklin North. The Lady Pioneers were held to two first-quarter points and totaled only 19 in a 31-19 loss to their Central Tennessee Conference rival.Warren County (3-5) failed to have any player finish with more than five points as Shonacye Rutledge, Hope Mullican and Megan Patch each hit the five-point mark in the team’s fifth loss. The lack of scoring was evident early as the Lady Pioneers found themselves in a hole after the first quarter.Kelly Denton and Kazdin Wild each hit 3-pointers for the visitors in the opening period and both shots would be more than Warren County would total in the six-minute quarter.
