Warren County Middle School’s Lady Pioneers 7-8 grade basketball team fell on hard times Thursday as they lost to the DeKalb County Lady Saints, 46-29, Thursday in Smithville.Coming off a win in Tullahoma last week, the Lady Pioneers (3-9) might have gone on break a little early having an off night offensively against the Lady Saints who were hitting well from outside the arc with eight 3-pointers. The Lady Pioneers, good at distributing the basketball, were caught off-tempo by the Lady Saints outside attack, most of which came from Kennedy Agu who hit for five 3-point shots in two quarters.“We are getting close. We are playing hard but we have to play and capitalize on every possession,” said Lady Pioneer coach Isaiah Phillips.Heading up the offense for Warren County was Nautica Brown with 12 points, 10 in the third quarter alone.
