A first-round win over Tracy City, followed by a second-round victory over Tullahoma East led the Lady Eagles of Morrison into the Jingle Bell Classic championship game against the Grundy County North Lady Warriors at Grundy County High School.Falling behind 18-8 at the break left the Lady Eagles in a tight spot, trying to dig out of a championship-game deficit. Fighting through all four quarters, Morrison didn’t have enough time and the Lady Warriors were the 35-23 victors Tuesday night.“It’s been a great challenge. The games themselves were the reward,” said Morrison head coach Kyle Cannon.
