The undefeated 5-6 grade Eastside Lady Bulldog basketball team defended its position with a commanding 40-10 victory over the Lady Wildcats in Dibrell on Monday night.Jumping off to a 21-3 first-quarter lead the Lady Bulldogs would never relinquish, Eastside was in total control of both sides of the court.“We were able to pressure a fast team,” said Eastside coach Rudi Rudicel. “With improved skills from contests this far in, student athletes on both sides played with heart and fantastic sportsmanship. Overall it was a great game.”Leading Eastside’s scoring drive was Shelby Smartt with 13 points, followed closely behind by Sable Winfree who scored 10.
