Holder Realty closes out Cleats and Cleavage's season

In the final game of the night in Newtown on Monday night, Cleats and Cleavage was ready to play its second game after losing its first game in a blowout to Mud Bums. This time Cleats and Cleavage went up against Holder Realty, with its season on the line.The game remained close for the first two innings, but Holder Realty used a five-run fourth inning to ultimately pull away from Cleats and Cleavage, 20-9.Coty Grissom and Tony Vaughn led the way at the plate for Holder Realty as they both had three hits in the victory.Noah Fann, who hit a solo home run in the game, was one of several Cleats and Cleavage hitters to lead the way at the plate with one hit apiece.Holder Realty came up with two outs in the top of the first, needing to put some runs on the board. Holder Realty saw is offense come up clutch as it scored five runs by the time the top of the inning was over, 5-0.Cleats and Cleavage scored a run to cut the deficit to four in the bottom of the inning thanks to Fann’s solo home run, 5-1, but that was the lone run to come across to score.Holder Realty exploded for eight runs at the plate in the top of the second as it used timely hitting to push the lead out to 13-1 heading into the bottom of the inning with a comfortable lead.Cleats and Cleavage cut the Holder Realty lead to nine in the bottom of the inning courtesy of four RBI singles, 13-4.After Holder Realty scored two runs in the top of the third to extend its lead, 15-4, Cleats and Cleavage answered back with two of its own to leave the deficit at nine, 15-6, after three.Holder Realty scored five runs in the top of the fourth to build a 14-run lead, leaving Cleats and Cleavage down to its final at-bat of the season.Cleats and Cleavage got runners on base in the bottom of the inning but failed to score any runs as Holder Realty won the game via the run-rule, 20-6.
