Behind the pitching and hard hitting of Mason Vaughn, Collins River BBQ claimed a 16-8 victory in Morrison Junior League action.
Vaughn finished with a home run and two hits to guide the Collins River BBQ attack. Lakelyn Simpson and Keegan Scott led the offense by scoring three runs each and Scott grabbed attention by crushing a home run.
Other tops batters for Collins River BBQ were Myles Brady with two doubles, and Rachel Myers with two hits.
Bryan Livestock held a 4-3 lead after the first inning, but didn't have the firepower from top to bottom of its lineup. The team does, however, have Lucas Scruggs who hit two home runs in his two at-bats.
Also enjoying solid games at the plate for Bryan Livestock were Haven Davis with two runs scored and Brielee Kelsey with two singles.
