With preseason practices underway, Covenant Academy’s high school volleyball team is setting up to kick off a new season. The Lady Lions finished last year fifth in the conference, their best finish so far as they keep improving since volleyball started at Covenant in 2013.“We didn’t have any seniors last year, so we got everyone back this season,” said head coach Chris Madewell. “We have four seniors and four juniors this year, the most experience we’ve ever had on the team.
