The WCHS Lady Pioneer soccer team couldn’t overcome two great plays Thursday night in Murfreesboro as Riverdale captured a 2-1 win.Sarai Ruiz scored the goal for the Lady Pioneers in what was a physical and aggressive game.The loss evens Warren County’s record at 1-1 heading into the team’s home opener Monday night against Tullahoma. Game time is 6 p.m.“Our intensity and effort in the second half were excellent and something we should be able to build upon,” said WCHS coach Todd Willmore. “It was very encouraging seeing the girls competing up until the final seconds.
