Wildcats end Irving College's season The Irving College Tigers won their last regular-season game in convincing fashion Monday night.But that momentum came to a screeching halt in the 7-8 grade county tournament Thursday night, when the Dibrell Wildcats pounced on the Tigers.Dibrell was all over the court in a 51-27 win.Lane Jones led Dibrell with a game-high 20 points, connecting behind the arc 4 times for the Wildcats. Dibrell was able to put together two huge quarters after jumping out to an early 10-6 score in the first quarter.It didn’t seem like the game was out of reach at the end of the first quarter when Irving College was down by only four points. Both teams were trying to feel each other out and find a rhythm.
