Morrison’s Eagles played host to Centertown’s Warriors in Tuesday night 5-6 grade basketball action and were flying high after a 35-17 victory. The Eagles spread their offense out with nine players scoring in their win. The Eagles controlled the basket underneath with their height, making the most of rebound activity.“We were working very well inside,” said Morrison coach Kyle Cannon. “We had the size and it was an overall good team effort.”The Warriors had a tough time defending against the Morrison height advantage, only scoring 1 point in the first quarter, but did better in the second scoring 6.
