Lessons learned in close losses during the Van Buren County Thanksgiving tournament were quickly learned by the Eagles. Mainly, the VBCHS boys realized they can't lose close games if they blow out their opponents. The Eagles were sharp in a pair of wins last week, beating Sequatchie County 67-40 Thursday on the road and topping Boyd at home Friday.
