There was one last chance to beat the Morrison Eagles during regular-season play and it was up to the Eastside Bulldogs to get it done.Unfortunately for Eastside fans, the Bulldogs couldn’t pull the upset as the Eagles put an exclamation point on an undefeated season with a 47-20 victory Tuesday night in Morrison.Irving Espinoza led the Eagles scoring a game-high 15 points.Morrison’s Ethan Smith, who had been quiet in the first half, started to heat up and the Eagles could sense it. Smith and Espinoza combined for eight of the 11 points scored by Morrison in the third. Devin Martin and Ronaldo Martinez added the remaining three points in the quarter.Eastside would call for timeout to try and slow the momentum from the Eagles, but to no avail.
