Boyd Christian School almost bucked the odds as the Lady Broncos fought hard for a championship run against the Dibrell Lady Wildcats on Thursday night in the 7-8 grade basketball tournament at Warren County High School.Having defeated the No. 4 seed to reach the semifinals, Boyd fell shy of the championship game as Dibrell took care of business, 38-24.“Our girls are where they expected to be, in the championship,” said Dibrell Lady Wildcat coach Marc Pyburn. “They have worked their tails off since September for this one moment.
