Devin Fish took over the overtime period in Friday's big win in Manchester that clinched a district title for WCHS.

The Southern Standard, partnering with R3 Logistics, will be honoring a Pioneer of the Week throughout the year. Our honoree from Feb. 2-8 is WCHS Pioneer Devin Fish.

Nobody had a doubt what the strategy was for the Pioneers in overtime in Manchester. Warren County's players knew, the Red Raiders knew and every person standing in the stands knew the Pioneer plan. Devin Fish was getting the ball and there was nothing Coffee County could do to stop him.

Fish had 10 of his team-high 18 points in overtime Friday to lead the Pioneers to a 57-52 victory. Every point proved to be critical as Warren County was able to claim a District 9-4A regular season title with the win, one that wouldn't have went the Pioneers' way without the work of Fish late.

The star junior hit a tough jumper, drilled a 3-pointer, connected on a three-point play and sealed the game with two free throws in OT.
