Friday will be the final day of submissions for the annual “Kids of Summer” section.The section is set to run Wednesday, Aug. 13.Any local team that has finished first or second in its league’s regular season or tournament can submit a photo free of charge. If a team finished outside the top two, but still wants to submit a photo, a charge of $20 will be applied. Submissions will be accepted during normal business hours or by e-mailing the team picture and information to sports@southernstandard.com.
