Custom Collision puts dent in Smarty Pants' record

Custom Collison pulled out a win against Smarty Pants on Friday night in boys 6-8 baseball action thanks to a five-run outburst thanks to the long ball in the second inning, to help them pull away for a 6-3 win. In the win for Custom Collision, Korbyn Harris came up huge at the plate with a grand slam homerun for his only hit of the game.Kaden Jones and Andrew Key also added solo homeruns to help contribute to the win. Smarty Pants was led at the plate by Eli Richardson who blasted a two-run homerun in the third inning.Custom Collision didn’t take long to score the first run of the game in the top of the first thanks to Jones’ solo homerun, to break the scoreless tie, heading into the bottom of the inning.Smarty Pants managed to get a runner on base in the bottom of the inning, but failed to tie the game, leaving it a one-run game.Custom Collisions’ bats caught fire in the top of the second as five runs came across to score via the homerun.
