KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee cornerback Cameron Sutton will return to school for his senior season rather than entering the NFL draft.

Sutton announced his decision Thursday via Twitter. Sutton tweeted, "I have decided that there are some team, academic and personal goals that I would like to achieve before I take that next step."

Sutton, a three-year starter for Tennessee, had 28 tackles, six pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one interception this season. He also averaged 18.7 yards per punt return to lead all Football Bowl Subdivision players.

He has six interceptions, 26 pass breakups and three fumble recoveries in his career.

His decision to return to school comes two days after Tennessee linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin also announced he was coming back for his senior season rather than entering the draft.
