NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators have signed forward Adam Payerl to a one-year contract.
Under terms of the deal announced Thursday, Payerl's contract will be worth $575,000 at the NHL level and $75,000 at the American Hockey League level in 2016-17.
Payerl, 22, has 13 goals, 16 assists and 114 penalty minutes in 74 games this season with the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals, who serve as the Predators' primary developmental affiliate. Payerl, who is 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, has appeared in 204 AHL games with Milwaukee and Wilkes-Barre since 012.
He played two NHL games with the Pittsburgh Penguins during the 2013-14 season.
