MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) — Middle Tennessee running back Jeremiah Bryson is expected to play against Florida International after being arrested on an order for child support.

Coach Rick Stockstill said in a statement Tuesday that Bryson is dealing with a personal matter, which he understands the player and his family have handled.

The Daily News Journal first reported the arrest.

The 23-year-old Bryson was arrested Sunday on an attachment order for child support in juvenile court, and he was booked into the county detention center before being released on $7,730 bond, according to Rutherford County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Lisa Marchesoni. He is scheduled for a hearing Dec. 10 in Juvenile Court.

The redshirt senior ranks second with 187 yards rushing and two touchdowns for Middle Tennessee (2-4).
