Earning its seventh straight victory wasn’t easy for the Warren County Middle School baseball team, but the Pioneers got the job done Monday in extra innings.Two runs in the bottom of the ninth, including Cole Estes coming in to score on a balk to end the game, helped Warren County beat Coffee County 5-4 and improve to 8-1 this season.There were several times when the Pioneers’ long winning streak looked in danger, but every time Warren County rallied. It took coach David Martin deciding to roll the dice in the bottom of the ninth, getting Estes to take off early on a potential suicide squeeze, that finally got Warren County over the top against its Central Tennessee Conference rival.The game went into extra innings tied 3-3, but Coffee County broke the tie with a run in the top of the ninth. Trailing for the third time, Warren County used errors to rally once again.
