Edward Jones catcher Braylen Moore catches Brents Computerss Jaython Baker in this slide Monday night in their tournament game.

Edward Jones was hit by a tsunami of scores as the team faced the No. 3 seed Brent’s Computers on Monday in game one of the tournament in boys 9-11 youth league action.
Brent’s took a decisive 18-1 win after an early 6-run first-inning lead led to an even more commanding 12-run second inning Ed Jones couldn’t answer.
Edward Jones/Leann Cordell got on the board in the third with a run by Ledger Higgins.
Brent’s Computers found its total tally to contain a who’s who of the entire roster. Trace Taylor, Brody Womack, Casen Youngblood and Sam Rivers all scored 3 runs apiece in the contest. Tyler “T-Bone” Adams, and Lukas Bernhadt added 2 runs each and Jaython Baker and Hayven Jones rounded out the final with 1 run apiece.
The win thrust Brent’s Computers into a game against No. 1 seed Donald Hillis on Tuesday night. Edward Jones falls into the loser’s bracket where they play Thursday night for a second-chance bid in the double-elimination tournament.
