Boyd took a step toward a TSIAA state title Tuesday at home, blasting visiting Pleasant View Christian High School 71-21 in the D1 state quarterfinals.

The Lady Broncos were back in action Thursday at home (the game wasn't completed at press time). With a win Thursday, Boyd would move on to play for the state Saturday at Welch College.
