After suffering its first loss in regular season conference play since 2011, the Boyd High School girls team was going to take out its frustration on somebody. Christian Community just happened to be the team standing in the way Saturday night.Spurred on by a career-best performance by junior Claire LeDuc, the Lady Broncos blasted Christian Community 63-31 to improve to 9-6 this season and 8-1 in MTAC play.LeDuc matched the production of the home team on her own as she poured in 31 points to lead the Lady Broncos to the blowout victory. The junior guard’s dominating performance came after Boyd lost on the road to Providence Christian last week, snapping the team’s 25-game regular season winning streak in MTAC play.Coach Stephen Glenn spoke to his team before Saturday’s game and urged them to start a new streak that night.
