The Warren County Middle School boys soccer team continued its dynasty last spring with its fifth straight Central Tennessee Conference championship. The Pioneers sealed their title with a 3-1 victory over perennial rival Shelbyville Harris in the conference championship game.
It was nearly the fifth straight undefeated season for the Pioneers as well. Warren County saw its nearly five-year winning streak snapped in a narrow loss to McCallie from Chattanooga.
Coach Matt Jackson, the team's leader during its unprecedented run of success, will get a chance to see many of his former pupils this spring. Jackson took the WCHS boys soccer job this fall and hopes to immediately compete for district championships as the leader of the high school team.
